About Michelangelo Scholar Publishing Limited
Michelangelo Scholar Publishing Limited (MSPL) was registered in Hong Kong on January 17, 2023. MSPL is an academic publisher dedicated to the dissemination of scholarly research through an Open Access (OA) publishing model. The publisher focuses on international, English-language journals in the fields of design, architecture, and art.
MSPL currently publishes the following peer-reviewed journals:
All journals are published in English and are made available online to ensure global accessibility. Selected content may also be produced in print, where applicable.
MSPL publishes four peer-reviewed journals. Among them:

The Journal of Design Service and Social Innovation (JDSSI) charges a USD 500 APC for accepted articles. To ensure inclusivity and equitable access, authors may request a full or partial waiver. Waiver and discount policies are clearly defined and publicly available on the journal website.
All waiver requests are evaluated solely based on eligibility criteria, and editorial decisions are made independently of financial considerations, ensuring that the peer-review and acceptance process remains completely impartial.
MSPL is committed to upholding internationally recognized standards of academic publishing. The publisher adheres to the principles of transparency and best practices in scholarly publishing established by organizations such as the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA), and the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME).

MSPL does not allow commercial interests to influence editorial decisions. Any optional services provided by the publisher are clearly separated from the peer-review and editorial process.
JAUD is a scholarly platform for architectural design, urban design, urban culture, and other fields. Through our rigorous peer-review and open access publishing programs, JAUD plays a crucial role in shaping future urban environments and architectural practices. JAUD supports interdisciplinary research and shared expertise, enabling the co-creation of solutions that address global urban development and planning issues. JACAC is a scholarly platform dedicated to the dissemination of ancient Chinese arts and crafts culture, covering the fields of ancient Chinese painting, sculpture, calligraphy, handicrafts, and so on. JACAC aims to share the arts and crafts culture, thought, and theory of ancient China, disseminate the brilliant achievements of ancient Chinese arts and crafts, promote the study of ancient Chinese arts and crafts culture, and strive to be in the leading position in this field. Scholarly papers submitted to JACAC may also include research on art and craft design in the context of historical exchange and cultural transmission between East and West.

JDSSI strives to be at the forefront of promoting design research and innovative practices.

DH promotes innovative design concepts and historical scholarship, analyzing the evolution of design and consumer culture while fostering cross-cultural dialogue, with a particular focus on design’s profound impact on everyday life. DH advances the forefront of design history, aiming to shape global research trends. We warmly invite interdisciplinary scholars to submit papers, igniting fresh perspectives in design history and theory.
