As a publisher whose primary goal is to publish scholarly journals, MSPL has its own philosophy and implementation methods. We firmly believe that scholarly research in the humanities should be diversified and differentiated from the methodology and implementation approach of research in the natural sciences. In the peer review process, we value the opinions of experts in the field as well as respecting the authors' own views and opinions. Thus, in making decisions about journal articles, we must consider the opinions of the reviewers as well as the unique insights of the authors in their articles.

We must avoid peer reviewers forcing authors to follow their own opinions, which also means that using the methods and evaluation criteria of scientific research to measure the results of research in the humanities can easily lead to the erasure of different ideas and perspectives.

Of course, our defense of different ideas and viewpoints in the development of multiculturalism does not mean lowering scholarly quality, but rather the need to select high-quality scholarly articles on the basis of equal opportunities and friendly exchanges.

In addition, we are not interested in the elite scholarly model, which has developed a solidified state of interest, and elite academia has actually been reduced to a rhetoric rather than caring for people themselves. By encouraging scholars to explore design research and practice, we seek to promote exchange and mutual understanding between different cultural groups in order to promote a more sustainable world.
