Activities
In August 2002, the folk public welfare ecological base was constructed for sand prevention and control in the Tengger Desert of Alxa. Up to now, a core demonstration area of desert border lock forest, nearly 20 kilometres from north to south and 1.5 kilometres from east to west on average, has been built, and nearly 10 million trees and shrubs have been planted, which has achieved significant ecological and social benefits. Its development process is now divided into three decades: 2002-2012, 2012-2022, 2022-2032. JDSSI academic committee member Dr. Lin Ji and Dr. Hua Yixiong are involved in it from July 20 to July 22, 2023.
